3D microstructure evaluation of developed Si3N4 material for alloyed wire rolling applications

This diploma thesis is devoted to the use of 3D reconstruction using EBSD method for microstructural analysis of silicon nitride ceramic material predetermined for the rolling-mill used in the wire production. Application of this method can be used for the grain structure reconstruction and basic microstructural parameters can be than extracted. The development of a suitable method for 3D reconstruction of the structure of the materials the main aim of this work. There are described the different steps begun by sample preparation from the investigated material trough the optimisation of analysis parameters up to the visualization of the grain structure. New type of sample geometry has been designed which leads to the better and faster observation of the microstructure of ceramic materials. This thesis also describes optimal reconstruction parameters such as the geometry of the assembly used in the microscope without mechanical movement of the sample or the influence of conductive coating prepared via in-situ sputtering of suitable metal, or adjustment of the electron and ion beams. Further are described two options of software which can be used for the final generation of 3D structure information and are assessed their advantages and disadvantages. The effect of the filter setting and other parameters and their influence on the resulting structural parameters are also evaluated.
System for Recognition of 3D Hand Geometry

V posledním desetiletí došlo ke zvýšení zájmu o užití 3D dat k biometrické identifikaci osob. Možná vůbec největší výzkum proběhl v oblasti 3D rozpoznávání podle obličeje, přičemž je v současné době dostupných vícero komerčních zařízení. V oblastni rozpoznávání podle 3D geometrie ruky byl v minulých letech proveden určitý výzkum jehož výsledkem však nebylo žádné komerční zařízení. Nezávisle na tomto výzkumu se v posledních letech velmi rozšířil trh s cenově dostupnými 3D sensory, což potenciálně umožňuje jejich nasazení v mnoha typech biometrických systémů. Hlavním cílem této práce je vytvořit funkční vzorek bezdotykového systému pro rozpoznávání osob podle 3D geometrie ruky, který bude používat novou levnou kameru RealSense 3D vyvíjenou v současné době firmou Intel. Jedním z problémů při použití RealSense kamery je její velmi malý form factor, který je příčinou nižší kvality výsledných snímků v porovnání s velmi drahými alternativami, které byly použity v již dříve zmíněném výzkumu 3D biometrických systémů. Práce se snaží analyzovat robustnost různých 2D a 3D příznaků a vyzkoušet několik různých přístupů k jejich fúzi. Rovněž je vyhodnocena výkonnost výsledného systému, kde je ukázáno, že navržené řešení dosahuje výsledků porovnatelných se state-of-the-art. 
Position Control With Camera

Thesis focuses on camera’s pose estimation in set world coordinate system. This coordinate system is defined by position of predefined marks. Cursor control is selected as a pose estimation feedback. Aim of this thesis is designing real time cursor control with camera methods. In theoretical part of this thesis is dedicated to explanation of basic theory of image processing, artificial intelligence in computer vision and 3D reconstruction. Following theoretical chapter is a chapter dedicated to the design of two position control with camera methods. First method defines fixed coordinate system and cursor is controlled by camera’s movement. Second method utilizes fixed camera and movable coordinate system. Further chapters are dedicated to realization of designed methods, their evaluation and comparison.
Objects 3D reconstruction using image processing methods

This diploma thesis deals with 3D reconstruction of objects using image analysis methods. The work includes mathematical theory associated with this problem, a procedure for creating 2D sharp images and 3D reconstruction itself. The outputs are 2D sharp images, 3D models, stl models. Different kinds of data are analyzed.
Optoelectronic and photogrammetric measuring systems

Dissertation deals with analysis and design of optoelectronic and photogrammetric measuring systems. Specific design of optoelectronic contactless flat object area meters with analysis of attainable measurement accuracy is described. Next part is dedicated to stereophotogrammetry - principles of 3D reconstructions, methods of camera self-calibration and matching points in images are described. The analysis of attainable accuracy of monitored parameters is discussed too. Finally, the test program with implemented described routines is introduced. This test program enables practical aplication of stereophotogrammetric system for taking spatial coordinates of 3D objects.
3D Reconstruction of Human Body Motion (MOCAP)

This thesis deals with object recognition in image, motion capturing and his transformation into 3D coordination system and 3D reconstruction. The problem was solved by building stereo camera system, detection of markers on a moving object and getting his position in space using triangulation. Hit rate of 95%  was achieved in marker detection at close range and accuracy of 3D reconstruction answers to reality at certain extend. The main finding of this work is that it is possible to reconstruct body motions with a pair of simple web cameras.
3D Scene Reconstruction from Images

Existing systems of scene reconstruction and theorethical basics necessary for scene reconstruction from images data are described in this work. System of scene reconstruction from video was designed and implemented. Its results were analyzed and possible future work was proposed. OpenCV, ArtToolKit and SIFT libraries which were used in this project are also described.
3D Model Reconstruction and Camera Localization

This thesis focuses on reconstruction of 3D environment model from a set of photographs followed by camera localization. It describes basic principles and techniques used to create environmental models and techniques for camera pose estimation from 2D camera points to 3D model points. It also examines the influence of parameters on the quality of reconstruction and the possibilities of localization. It compares the quality of the descriptors in the process of creation of the model and based on localization it allows to implement augmented reality.
3D model

This paper concerns the task three-dimensional scene using image sequence obtained with an ordinry camera. First portion of this thesis outlines the principles used in solving of the task, the second chapter describes a reconstucion algorithm and it's implementation in the Python programming language. The output of this program is demonstrated on several selected scenes. Final remarks discuss the quality of resulting models, shortcomings of the program and possible improvements.
3D Face Reconstruction

The top of this thesis is 3D face reconstruction by the help the projected regular grid from the 2D image. It also includes the grid detection and the description of methods that are needed to raster image processing. The application was written in C++ programming language, it uses OpenCV graphic library, and also it is designed for OS Windows XP and higher.
